Education may not be the first thing that comes to mind when talking about a medical marijuana dispensary.
But officials at the new Revolutionary Clinics in Somerville say their goal is “to have the smartest patients in town,” as managing director Meg Sanders puts it.
Sanders, the former CEO of the Colorado-based cannabis company Mindful, said unlike her experience in Colorado, many Massachusetts customers are first-time marijuana users. Part of the role of the dispensary is to teach people about different products, to figure out the best way to address their symptoms.
“We’re grateful they look to us to be their Sherpas on this journey,” Sanders said.
