Toronto police raid Canna Club dispensary

The Toronto Police Service say that on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at 2:50 p.m., officers from 32/33 Division’s Street Violence Task Force executed a search warrant at the Canna Club at 429 Wilson Avenue.

Police alleged that they seized 1403.04 grams of leaf marihuana, 301.8 grams of marihuana oil and $1,330 CAD. Three people were arrested in the raid and charged with possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

All three are scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Thursday, February 22, 2018, 9 a.m., room 114. Read the police news release here. Toronto Police Services have said they will continue to target illegal dispensaries in the city.
